The Simulator started in 1996 when a NJ EMT instructor decided he would make a choose-your-own adventure game on the internet.  He roped his buddy into playing his partner, and Bob and Mortimer were born.  Two snarky EMTs who got into ridiculous adventures treating patients and fending off the kind of mishaps that only happen on EMS calls.

Then the simulator went idle.  It was the classic tale of EMT boy gets a nursing and medic license, EMT boy’s workload is overwhelming, EMT boy meets girl, EMT boy has twins, EMT boy gets divorced, EMT boy has too much curriculum development to do to make internet games that now require much more high-tech development than they did 20 years ago.

I mean in 1996, this animated GIF was considered pretty cool:

But now the simulator is back because the tales of Bob Czagrinski and Mortimer Wellesley are too legendary to not be told.  And now you are in the driver’s seat.
